Terms & Conditions

General terms and conditions of the private limited companies: CityHub AMS Bellamy BV, CityHub RTM Witte de With BV and CityHub CPH Vesterbro ApS.


1. Definitions and Interpretation

1.1 In these Terms and Conditions, unless the context otherwise requires, the following expressions have the following meanings:

“Customer”means a paying guest of CityHub;

“CityHub”means the CityHub location to which the reservation applies;

“Rates”means the prices payable for rooms and (where applicable) other facilities offered by CityHub;

“No Show” – means a guest not arriving at the hotel on the date of arrival of their reservation without prior notice to CityHub.


2. Bookings and Reservations

2.1 Customers may make reservations in advance through CityHub’s website.

2.2 Customers are required to provide identification (passport or driver’s license) and information including, but not limited to, their name, address, contact telephone number, nationality and email address. In case no authorised credit card can be presented, CityHub withholds the right to deny entrance to the hotel. 

2.3 Your reservation shall be paid in full 48 hours prior to arrival latest.

2.4 Reservations booked in advance do not constitute a legally binding contract between CityHub and the Customer until CityHub confirms the reservation with the Customer and provides the Customer with a booking reference.

2.5 Reservations may be changed by the Customer at any time prior to arrival (subject to the cancellation provisions set out in Clause 4 below). CityHub will use all reasonable endeavours to accommodate any changes requested but gives no guarantee that all changes will be accommodated.

2.6 Reservations are not required. Customers may make bookings on arrival however CityHub cannot guarantee the availability of rooms or other facilities for such bookings.

2.7 Customers may request additional nights at CityHub at any time during their stay. CityHub will use all reasonable endeavours to accommodate such requests.

2.8 For reservations for groups of more than 10 persons or 5 Hubs, special preconditions apply. Customer is required to send an email to the hotel of choice for the request of a group reservation. If separate reservations are made resulting in a group of more than 10 persons, CityHub holds the right to refuse such a group upon check-in.


3. Fees and Payment

3.1 Details of Rates including, where applicable, promotional Rates and other special offers are available from CityHub’s website.

3.2 Rates and prices quoted when making reservations apply only to accommodation unless otherwise stated. Additional charges may apply for items including, but not limited to, meals and drinks. These items are to be paid at check-out.

3.3 CityHub may from time to time offer promotional Rates. The following provision applies:

3.3.1 Additional nights requested under sub-Clause 2.7 above shall be charged at the standard Rate.

3.4 CityHub may offer non-refundable Rates. The following provisions apply:

3.4.1 Advance payments made under sub-Clause 3.4 above are non-refundable.

3.4.2 any deposits or booking fees taken at the time of reservation are non-refundable.

3.5 The following payment methods are accepted by CityHub:

3.5.1 Credit Cards – Visa, Mastercard

3.5.2 Debit Cards – Maestro, VPay

3.5.3 We do not accept cash at all


4. Cancellations

4.1 Subject to sub-Clause 4.2 below, reservations may be cancelled without charge provided if the Customer gives notice 24 hours before the date of arrival (00:00, local GMT time) of their reservation. Any sums paid in advance to CityHub shall be refunded to the Customer.

4.2 In the event that the Customer has paid in advance under the provisions of sub-Clause 3.4, no refunds shall be made in the event of cancellation.

4.3 Failure to provide the required notice of cancellation 24 hours before the date of arrival shall result in the Customer being charged for one night’s accommodation at the Rate specified in their reservation.

4.4 In case of a No Show the Customer is charged for their full stay. No refund will be provided.

4.5 In case of a No Show the subsequent nights, if any, will be cancelled. So if you are delayed getting to us please inform us and we can try to amend your booking (subject to availability).

4.6 CityHub may, in an exceptional case, cancel a reservation. In the event of such cancellation, the Customer shall be informed immediately and shall be offered a full refund of any and all sums paid. Where a refund is offered under this sub-Clause 4.6 only, the provisions of sub-clauses 3.4 and 4.2 pertaining to advance payments shall not apply and a refund shall be payable.


5. Check-in and Check-out

5.1 Guest can check-in at CityHub from 3 pm.

5.2 CityHub features self check-in. Guest check-in on one of the check-in terminals with their check-in details. In case assistance is required, guest can contact the CityHost.

5.3 Check-out time at CityHub is 12pm. Failure to check-out by 12pm may result in the Customer being charged for an additional night’s accommodation at the standard applicable Rate.


6. Hotel Rules

6.1 Customers are required to conduct themselves in a reasonable and responsible manner at all times when staying at CityHub and must not act in any way which may disturb other guests. Any Customer who, in the opinion of our staff, compromises the comfort, safety or security of other guests, staff or local residents will be asked to leave the hotel premises and will not be given a refund and all sums due shall become immediately payable. 

6.2 Customers shall be charged for any and all damage caused by them to CityHub’s property during their stay. A minimum additional cleaning penalty of € 250 / DKK 2.000 will be applied in case of an extremely dirty Hub.

6.3 Smoking traditional and electronic cigarettes is not permitted in any indoor area of CityHub. Failure to adhere to these requirements shall result in the Customer being charged for any and all costs incurred by CityHub in cleaning the room (including, but not limited to, fixtures, fittings and soft furnishings), restoring it to a smoke-free environment and paying off local fire hazard penalties and costs with a minimum of € 700,00 per case in CityHub AMS and CityHub RTM and DKK 5.000 for CityHub CPH (DKK 5000,00). CityHub is subsequently allowed to ask the guest to leave the premises immediately. A refund will not be issued then.

6.5 The following actions are not permitted in the Hub and Hub area:

6.5.1 Bringing animals into the Hub is not allowed.

6.5.2 Guests cannot store bicycles in the Hub area or inside the Hubs.

6.6 CityHub’s facilities are not suitable for children under the age of 4 years old. Children under the age of 4 years old may not stay at CityHub. Children under the age of 16 need to be accompanied by an adult, children under the age of 18 years are required to provide CityHub’s parental authorization form prior to check-in.

6.7 Any guest found using drugs within any of the hotels will be asked to leave the premises immediately. A refund will not be issued.

6.8 We do not serve alcohol to anyone under the age of 18.

6.9 The customer’s Hub or Room would need to be inspected at least weekly.


7. Food and Drinks

7.1 Unless expressly indicated otherwise, food and drinks are not included in any Rates and will be charged for in accordance with sub-Clause 3.2 above.


8. Limitation of Liability

8.1 To the fullest extent permissible by law, CityHub’s liability for any loss or damage suffered by Customers shall be limited to that which arises out of the negligence of CityHub’s employees, subcontractors or agents.

8.2 Notwithstanding sub-Clause 8.1 above, CityHub shall not be liable for any indirect loss or damage which may be suffered by a Customer including, but not limited to, loss of income, loss of business, loss of profits, loss of opportunity, loss of anticipated savings, loss of data or loss of enjoyment.


9. General

CityHub may, from time to time, change these Terms and Conditions without notice, however it will use its reasonable endeavours to inform Customers as soon as is reasonably possible of any such changes.


10. Data Protection

The Hostel will not share Customers’ personal data with any third parties for any reasons without the prior consent of the Customer concerned.


11. Law and Jurisdiction

11.1 These Terms and Conditions (including any non-contractual matters and obligations arising therefrom or associated therewith) shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the Dutch law.

11.2 Any dispute, controversy, proceedings or claim between the Parties relating to these Terms and Conditions (including any non-contractual matters and obligations arising therefrom or associated therewith) shall fall within the jurisdiction of the courts of The Netherlands.
